What we do

Assessment of skill

Mountaineering is a subject & object’s high risky activity zone, which needs well trained, skillful, knowledgeable and supportable guides & staff. Guides need different levels of training with refreshment, for this reason MoGAN organizes different levels of Mountain guide assessment courses.

Trace management

MoGAN actively engaged for such cleaning and environmental activities. With the increasing numbers of visitors/climbers in Nepalese mountains, the environment is polluted day-by-day. Trails, base camp sites and above the base camp need much more attention for cleaning and trace/garbage management activities.

Rope fixing

All mountain expeditions & peak climbing sections necessary need rope fixing. Those of mountain & peak MoGAN fixing the rope for safety enhancement activities to minimize risks and support the climbers.

Trail builders

MoGAN builds new trails/ rebuilds old trails, which provide easy access to the proposed mountain peaks and high passes priorities based in necessary places, collaboration with our partners.

Policy role player

Nepalese mountain guides are based on training and practical experiences, MoGAN provides suggestions to the government for tourism, guides and workers friendly policies collaboration with tourism trade unions. Disaster preparedness, environment protection, safety enhancement, climate change adaptation, ethical tourism, and in all over, developing sustainable mountain tourism policy are the concerns of MoGAN.

Rescues & Support

MoGAN is a responsible mountain guides organization. MoGAN supports the victims of mountain disaster, particularly the rescue, guides, porters and Nepalese climbers who are in during climbing activities.

Promotional Events

MoGAN organizes different events for promoting mountain tourism in Nepal. Including regular events are World Tourism Day, Everest Day, World Environment Day, MoGAN Day, Int’l workers day etc
