2022 Nov 14, 3 of Nepalese mountain guides and 2 of climbers have successfully scaled mt. Ganchempo (6378m). World record holder in 14 peaks double summited Mr. Sanu Sherpa, MoGAN general secretary, Mr. Ram Kaji Tiwari “prayas”, MoGAN Treasurer, Mr. Lal Bahadur Waiba, Garima Voyage president Rabindra Aryal and New Vision Nepal president Ashok Bhatt. The team was led by Sanu Sherpa and MoGAN general secretary Ram kaji.
Ramkaji, who is also the general secretary of Mogan, said that reaching the top of the mountain after 11 hours from Camp-1. He says that success has been achieved in the mountaineering of Nepal and new climbing destinations have been added. Famous Nepali mountaineers Sanu Sherpa and Lal Bahadur Waiwa climbed Gangchenpo (6,378 metres) for the first time from Sindhupalchok, within a few days ago.
The Gangchenpo Explore Expedition program manager Sanjib Gurung said that the two mountaineer teams managed to climb the new route after about 12 hours from the first camp. He says that he was able to reach the peak by opening a new route easily.
